2015 Parade of Homes Judge’s Award of Excellence & People’s Choice Award

“Number 11” is the type of project that we, as builders, love. Under continuous ownership since 1983, this year brought a total transformation to this cozy second home. Once adorned with T-111 interior walls and pickled trim, Number 11 has stepped out from its dated vernacular of 80s Beach Cottage and into the new century with its sharp lines and coastal contemporary style. While only adding 400 square feet, no detail was left untouched. Behind the walls, new insulation, wiring, and mechanical systems were replaced. Outside the walls, the home received new cedar shake siding, Andersen windows, a standing seam metal roof with skylights, custom casework, tiled baths, and a maple and stainless steel railing. Seeing is believing, and “Number 11” sets the pace for what can be done with an existing home.
